PowerDVD XP -> No TV OUT!

    Hi buddies!

I really do have a big problem!!!

As i installed the PowerDVD XP 4.0 everything was ok.
DVDs worked perfectly on my system .. but then i wanted 2
watch the movies on my TV.

And this is where the problem starts:

it was not possible 4 me to get a clear signal to my TV.
All i saw was a totally ugly and unclear picture in black and white.

But the TO Out works perfekt with the WMP.

SO WHAT DO I DO WRONG???

Pleeeeeze help me, thx a lot!!!!

    some information ´bout my system:

    win2000prof, nvidia ge-force2 mx400 with 64mb sdram and POWERDVD XP 4.0

your tv is receiving an s-video signal, and is either not new enough to receive svideo, or is not on the correct av channel, sony for example have composite on av2, then s-video on av2.

      Tv Prob with GeForce2

      thx 4 ur answer!

but there is one little prob; i do have a very old tv and so it doesnt have a scart input. thats why i work with my video recorder (panasonic nv-hd 640)

my question now: could it be possible that my video recieves the signal properly, but then makes this signal copy save???

´cause last time we watched videos via TV out with a projector and there the signal was OK!

hope 2 hear from u soon

To use your videorecorder as input, I think you must configure the video signal of your Ge force in COMPOSITE mode, instead of s-video. I don't know where you're from, but don't forget to set the right format too...

        (See image)

I had the same problem 'cause I wanted to record some of my dvds on VHS. With this configuration, no problem anymore...

        Let me know
