Audio in Power DVD: Help?

Im using a full version of power DVD and i have 5.1 Chnl Audio Enabled. The problem i hav is that all the 5 channels work seperatly but the Sub wolfer channel doesn work. Instead i just get a bassy combo of the other 5 channels. I know this because i hav a dvd disk that plays a sound through each channel individually one by one. Has anyone had this prob or any suggestions why???

make sure you have the latest sound drivers for your system, and that they're set up correctly.

also go control panel-->sound and audio devices-->advanced(under speaker settings) and make sure its set up correctly...

I hav all the audio config setup right. I just have onboard Realtek AC97 sound chip. I'll go n chek for new drivers now. Cheers
