Media player classic & Pure video decoder

Can anyone please explain how I can setup MPC to use NVidea's pure video decoder?

make sure you have the latest version of mpc, 6.4.8.8.

nvidia's purevidio sets itself a very high merit, you've probably got mpc's internal mpeg2 decoder enabled.

go through options-->internal filters, and disable the mpeg2 video filter. then try playing. if you see a small nvidia icon in the system tray, its working.

if not, go options-->external filters. click 'add filter', and look in the list for 'nvidia video decoder'. double click it, click prefer, then ok.
