I have tried DirectDvD as my first ever dvd software decoder/player. My first impressions are positive and the software seems to works well. I am anxious to see how i can create mp3 files from the disk.
The easy way to create mp3 from the vob file is:
Use xmpeg to extarct the mp3 file directly from de vob file.
First u have to download dvd.mism.exe and copy the file in to the xmpeg folder (to open all vob file once)
Pres run->extract audio to->mp3
U set up your preferance and after then u have to wait to finish the proces.
This is the easy way.
Also u can extract the ac3 file and after then u have to convert the ac3 file in mp3
Where would i find dvd.mism.exe and where would i find the xmpeg folder? Is it part of direct dvd? What is a vob file? I see i can make an mp3 for the audio but what about the video part? I am still a newbie at this.
Xmpeg is a encoding divx based program. U can download it from www.doom9.org or www.divx-digest.com.
With tihs program and many others u can convert ur dvd movie in to a divx movie. Go to doom9.org and look at ripping/encoding guides.
If u will give me ur e-mail address i will send u dvd.mism.exe
