Power Director 5

Hello,

I use Power Director 5 to make DVD's from camcorder tape. I understand how to trim and multi-trim. I also make my files small enough when capturing so there is as little trim as possible. However, I've yet to figure out if there is a way to keep ONLY the trimmed materials and permanently delete the rest. Does anyone know if this is possible?

hi! ive been using power director for a few months now,ive found the best way to do the above is save your trimmed movie as an mpeg or avi on your hard drive.then delete your old footage.then simply put your trimmed movie back on the timeline.hope this helps you
