Yeah, got that? I have some DVDs that are originally formatted in widescreen, however the copy I have apparently is intended for fullscreen. Consequently, its less than 1/2 the size it should be. I am playing it on my widescreen LCD TV with my computer (Vista w/ DVI in Media Player 11). Can I get the picture to be displayed normally?

Unless you have played around with the aspect ratio when editing the DVD, just make sure your player is setup correctly to match the TV type (16:9). With a 4:3 pic, you should see black bars left and right and if the source is letterboxed (and not 16:9 anamorphoic) on top and bottom too, making the pic as you described.
Perhaps use the zoom feature on your software.

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.
