Admin I received the update regarding MPC's new REV 86, but can't find anywhere to download it. I tried going to the home page at SourceForge.net but they still have the old versions. Where can I go download the latest version updated on the 29th of Nov as posted on your site? Thnx.

Thnx for coming thru Blu. Should I do a clean uninstall of the previous version of MPC before installing this one? Also ffdshow automatically works in the background correct, or does it have to be opened? AFAIK, MPC does not need any installation. So, you just delete the old version and replace it with the newer one in its folder. MPC will automatically detect FFDSHOW(if FFDSHOW has been configured to decode a certain video format).Should I do a clean uninstall of the previous version of MPC before installing this one?sigpic

There's no shortcut or start menu icon for ffdshow so would the configuration have to be done via MPC? Or did I miss something here? I went to options in MPC and looked everywhere on it as well and couldn't find any entry for ffdshow.SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,

If there's no start menu icon or shortcut where is this you're pointing me to? I have xp home so my menu is start>programs and then w/e's there. FFDSHOW wasn't there. Unless this is a cmnd prompt that has to be inserted via the run window? In any case I'll install the new version. Is there any suggestion as to what to click on the initial installation? If it's too much to ask then I'll try to find a guide for it here in DD Home, unless you could provide a link to one?
