Hi, I too am having difficulty with the macrovision thingy from PC to TV. I came across this gadget called VideoClear 5 which connects to the back of the video or dvd and removes the macrovision all together, although I think it only does upto macro 1 & 2.

Unfortunately for those living in the UK, you can't get them yet as I've been trying.

If anyone knows of something similer then please post it.

Use youe tv!!

If you have a tv with two scart input, you can connect your computer to one of them, and your vcr to the other. The tv removes the macrovision.
