    Macrovision without DVD ?

    Hi Folks,

Can Macrovision be enabled on the gfx card without even playing DVDs ?

I'm using a Radeon 9000 and I can't get it to display via the VCR. I use S-Out, to a Scart convertor, and plug that into the VCR.

This cable setup used to work with my GF2 card, but now with the Radeon 9000 the picture is distorted/goes black and white/and overlays parts of TV programs...

The thing is I'm not playing DVDs, it's like this with simply the Windows desktop, or with mpegs or AVIs. Do some gfx cards enable Macrovision when you're not even playing DVDs ?

    Thanks for any tips!
    Kelvin.
