avi2mp4 or mpeg1tomp4

hi,
i recently downloade quicktime6 with mp4support, so i converted an mpeg1 trailer of spiderman to divx using flaskmpeg with 5.0.2 codec and 128kbps divx audio!!then, usind divx codec configuration, i converted it to mp4 , but there is a problem!!there is no video in qt6 , and no audio in divx player 5.0.2 !! the log file sez audio and video is ignoreds!!pls tell me correct config to play an mp4 file in qt6!!direct conversion from mpeg1 (.mpg) to mp4 and from avi tomp4 if possible,pls tell me!!

The MP4 files can't use mp3 audio. You must encode the audio as AAC.

wrong, .mp4 files can also contain mp3/mp2/mp1 streams

and it also cant only handle mpeg-4 streams (like xvid, divx5, 3ivx or nerodigital) but also mpeg-2 and mpeg-1 ones
