    audio streams have different block sizes

    Hey all! I'm attempting to join some .avi files and the first thing that happened was this error:
    "audio streams have different sampling rates" - Got that changed after reading this board.
    Now the error I get is:
    "The audio streams have different block sizes 1 vs 4"

    What do I need to do? Any help is appreciated or a link to an explanation somewhere else!

    Thanks!

      In VirtualDub, try resaving each file (with new filenames) with audio compression set to "No Compression (PCM)". Make certain that "Video" is set to "Direct Stream Copy".

      Exit VirtualDub and then restart it.

      If VirtualDub accepts the two files for appending, once again set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy". Set the audio compression to the format that you prefer. Save the combined file with a new filename.

      Let us know of your success ;>}
