    0-bit sound ?!?

    Hi all,

I've got a video which doesn't play any sound. Yet I know it has sound because it plays on other machines. But on mine Windows Media Player attempts to download an audio codec and fails. (this isn't new) But I can't get VirtualDub to play it either! It's supposably encoded with "div3 mpeg4 cracked " or something similar. though according to two AVI header/info utilities this video's audio stream is 0-bit!

Is there any utility or anything where I can manualy set the bit-depth in the header to 16-bit? Or some utility that will fix the file?

    Thanks.

Okay, I read some older messages in the forum and managed to fix the problem. I downloaded some AC3 codecs and now it seems to work.
