How do you fix *.WMV files? It has a bad frame. AVI Aint working.

Howd i d/l a WMV video it had a corrupt frame cant use divFix is it possible to fix it if yes how and what do u use?

Secondly can WMV be converted to MPEG? if so with what?

I have read on this forum, that TMPGEnc can convert most wmv files.

both those programs mentioned above are the way to go
i work only with wmv due to system limitations at work.
looking into inserting a codec directly into the system ini to get divx5.0.2 to work, but sorry to bable those above mentioned programs are the best and easiest ways to play with wmv.
asf tools is free and tmpgenc cost $ (unless you search the net really hard). down with payware, free the software dl freeware. gnu plug. hehehehe
