Wm9

Hi I got WMP 9 on my computer from a beta site. But this one is pretty much done and in great detail. However I don't know how to encode in it. I never used a window's encoder before. Always stuck with other ones like divx and xvid. If you know how let me know I'd like to mess around with it and post my findings. Thanks

(I assume you're referring to a Windows Media Codec and not WMP as you typed, which is merely a player)

If it's a legitimate beta, it and tons of related information should be available at Microsoft's site...

Well I tried the WM9 codec and I must say that honestly..... I don't think it is better than the RM9. I think we will see improvements in it as it matures though. However RM9 I have heard is going to be open source. If so then I would bet my money on RM9.
