VirtualDub startup problem

Hi,

I recently upgraded from VirtualDub 1.4.8 to 1.4.10

Now, everytime I start VirtualDub and then try to load a .avi, VirtualDub just closes!!

Even if I got back to 1.4.8 it still does this now.

Has anyone see this or have any ideas what is wrong.

After uninstalling virtualdub, did make sure all the .ini's and registry entry's have been removed?

Yep, I searched and removed all reg. entries

The only thing i can think of besides hitting their web site:

http://www.virtualdub.org/virtualdub_kb

Is try reinstalling DivX codec.
