Video In On Pc Videocard, Inputting A DVD Player?

Is this poss? I have a new videocard that has svideo in, can i get my dvd player that i normaly have on my 48Inch Tv and hook it into the input on my videocard then rip my own DIVX`s? if so how can i get Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulead Power Director 2 which comes with my videocard to see y DVD Player as a Capture Source

It's possible, as long as you either have the means to turn off Macrovision on the DVD player or your capture software (such as ASUS Live!) ignores Macrovision...

that great, so how would i go about hooking it up?;> i have connected the dvd players videoout to my video in :> now what ow do i get any software to see it as a video source?:>
