How can I extract the audiostream from an avi that dosen't contain a videostream? I can't open it in VirtualDUB because it only accepts avis with a videostream.

How did you ever come by an avi without video ?
Have you tried using grahpedit ?Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

Load it into TMPGEnc ("Audio" only, if it balks)...Comment

To create an avi withour video:
* Start premiere 6 (Adobe stuff) and add an audio-track to the timeline.
* Export this to an avi.
* you now have an video-less avi
To get the audio out: try to use AviSynth.. that should do the job.We were all newbies once... and we all needed some help once, so lets once help the newbies.Comment
