Need help in fixing choppy avi?

    Hey all,
I got a movie. It was an avi format and I played it on Windows media Player version 7.01. I can hear the movie pretty well. However, the image frames move too slowly. In other words, the frames are choppy. It will get stuck on one image frame for like 10 minutes. I am assuming the problem is my slow processor which is a (375Mhz pentium). It may also be the problem with the laptop which has a 4MB videocard. I have heard there might be software(hopefully free) out there that will make the images run quicker. I really would appreciate it if someone could mention the names of some software and where I could possibly get them.

    Thanks

Hi! Try using Memo Kit. The trial is free. It works real well by freeing up RAM that is wasted by windows. I use it and it works like a charm. You mind paying the small fee after you see how it works. Here is the link. http://www.memokit.com/
