missing audio

I Have downloaded several films of the net. 99% are just fine but I've run into few films with missing audio. I was just wondering if I'am missing something or are these just bad rips? I'am using codec 5.0.2 and films with no sound are compressed with 4.12. At least some of them.

you will need to find out, WHAT codec you're dealing with and then install a proper codec(pack).

take a look at other postings in this board - this problem has been discussed more than once.
