Any easy dvd encoding guides

Do any of you know any easy DVD encoding guides for NTSC...I mainly want to use gordionknot and yes ive seen UncasMS guide but his says its for PAL only. Thanks.-wicked

Talk about the AVI file container, and the Divx/Xvid codecs that are most commonly found in AVI files
