    VCD Playback Problem

I have encoded many XVCD's without any problem.
Unfortunately ,even although the end resultant VCD plays nicely on my DVD,I am unable to play it on any of my software on my computer (I have WMP,Elecard,Zoom,Powerdvd).
With all of the above mentioned players, when I open the file everything is ok.If I attempt to move the slider bar to advance the movie,it freezes up everytime and I have to ctrl+alt+del several times to exit.
I am using TMPGE to encode using Kwag's template.
    Anyone?

I'd suggest that you stick with "plain vanilla" MPEG2 files for playback on your computer (or SVCDs for playback with your software DVD player)...
