easiest way to put DVD into powerpoint?

I would like to incorporate some DVD into a powerpoint presentation. I have ripped the DVD to my hard drive, but am having trouble editing the large file and then saving it to import into the presentation. Is there software available that can help? Great thanks to anyone who replies.

The easiest way to do this is to convert the DVD t o DivX avi file.
