Switching DVD audio modes without menus

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how you would switch between different audio formats (DTS and Dolby Digital) if you remove the extras and menus when burning a large movie to a DVD-R? I guess my question is, how to do select DTS or Dolby Digital if you can't access the "Audio" menu that was available on the original disk?

Any help would be great.

Your standalone DVD player should have its own setup menu, which includes audio choices. If you're playing the DVD on your PC, the software DVD player also have its own provision...
