xmpeg trouble

hi,

i'm trying to convert a dvd into divx with xmpeg. i did everything according to the instructions, but when i start the conversion process i get the following error:

flaskmpeg warning
An error occured when trying to generate the file.
Check that you're not using the output file or the program is setup correctly

can anyone help me,
