interlaced video to RADEON AIW 7500 tv out
Hi,
I have a problem with the tv-out of the ATI RADEON AIW 7500.
How do you output an interlaced video (in my case 640x480, 25 fps) to the tv out, resulting in a fluent movie? I played it full screen in an overlay, but it looks like shit on the TV (in fast moving scenes). I thought keeping the interlaced video always should result in the best quality? I also swapped the fields in the video, but this did not help. Can this be done in any way?
Progressive scan output to the TV out (in my case 640x480, 50fps, thus keeping all fields) was succesfull though, very fluent video, but very timeconsuming in converting the video, and a video that is twice the size!
