I d/loaded 2 divx avi files from the net.
I have powerDVD installed, it came with my hercules graphics card.
When I play the files there is no picyure and no sound.
Ihave d/loaded possibly every codec I could find and installed them.
Why can I not see or hear anything.
    Please help.

What other players have you tried using? In my expierience it is best to try EVERY player you can get your hands on, until you find one which works for you.

    Good Luck!

there are a few divxfixer prog out there the last place i got one isn't there now, try nicks pages linked from this site also you could try and open them in adobe Prem if you have it but if not any editing package check out nick again for divx editing or divx converting, in most of these progs you can view the film. if that dosn't work then without spending a lot of time on it, they are not much cop. if you user a peer 2 peer to get these movies downloaded they are often rubbish or not what they say they are, try ftp based servers they are much more reliable.
