Why do the Divx movies that I encode (using Gknot Divx 5.02) not allow fast forward or rewind when I play them in Windvd? I can move the slider and everything works fine but the FF RW buttons don't do anything.
That is simply a limitation of WinDVD's abilities regarding other-than-DVDs. It wasn't too long ago that WinDVD couldn't play .AVi files (DivX-compressed or otherwise)...
