Damaged AVI file - Desperate to access ! ;-( Please help

I have an AVI that was aborted / corrupted before the end of the capture. Can anyone help me access it ?

It's something I can't capture again....

I've tried Virtualdub and a few others, but no luck ?
Any ideas ?
