Divx Won t play

I have downloaded A movie Red Dragon off of Kazza, however it won t play with any of the players i have. I have d/led this movie over and over, atleast 8 time if not less. But none of the play, well, they play but i don t see the picture or hear the sound,however , i can skip, i play, pause and stop. But i can not see Picuter or hear sound. I used virtualdub to find out what type of encoder it was used to encode the file and it shows Divx 5.0.2 whihc i already have.

I have used Divx player, Windows media player, PowerDVD and virtualdub but the same problem with all of them

Although chances are it's a phony file, in order to determine which codec(s) you need for a particular .AVI, you should do the following:

1) Load the file into VirtualDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
