Unable to play Divx w/Win95 & MS Player v6.4.07

I'm unable to play Divx files w/Win95 & MS Player v6.4.07.1112. If MS Player v7 will, this version is not compatilbe w/Windows 95 (I have OSR version). I tried other players that have the needed codecs but would prefer to use the MS version of a media player. These other players work but are slow to launch. Are there codecs for the MS Player v6.07. I tried to install what I thought were the needed codecs for Player 6.4. with no luck.

DivX 5.x does not support Win95. I'm not sure about DivX 3.11, but you might just try installing it and see how it goes.
