Playing DivX etc. in Media Player

HI!

I have an Creative Ti4200 card 64 mb .. but when i changed my previous card, an MX 2 32mb . I encountered some problems, when opening an movie.. The Media player stops for bout 5-7 seconds, annd when I move the mouse it seems like it lags... Then the movie starts playing....

Any ideas on how I can fix this, so it starts playing like it did with my MX card?? Or what the reason can be..

My machine is an AMD 1,33 Ghz with 768 mb ram..

did you remove all old registry keys for the previous vga before installing the new one?

sounds like some sort of driver conflict.

tried the latest detonator?
