divx ac3 codec... help!!

i have a problem. there is no sound when i play some movies. i have downloaded the divx ac3 codec, but dont know how to install it. when i run the exe file, it only extract to 4 files: iviaudio.ax, mpgaudio.ax, registerfilters-2k and registerfilters-98. what should i do? i am using win xp.

copy iviaudio.ax + mpgaudio.ax to your windows/system directory and then doubleclick register2k.cmd
