When Im capturing a VHS using virtualdub, when i look at the file i made the sound is what i would call "supersonic," it sounds like its in fast forward, and its always over waaay before the video is, even though they are supposed to be synced. help please this is getting really frustrating.

Before capturing did you make sure that under "Capture-->settings" and under "advanced" "lock video stream to audio" was checked?

What codec did ou capture to? MP3, Ogg Vobis, Wave try capturing in wave if you didn't do that before.
