avi problem PLZ HELP!

hello guys ..ihave 2 movies that i couldn't watch (no picture) but when i play them i hear the sound so i downloaded nimo pack ....first of all my windows media player(9 series) is not working anymore(wmp encountered a problem and need to be closed)
second when i play these files i see green screen at first and then colours begin to blend in the screen ............... plz your help is greatly appreciated i'm a newbie in the movie businessss

If you have the NimoCodec pack installed, then simply download "Tha Playa", a good video player. As for windows media player 9 series, go to start>all programs>accesories>system tools> system restore and restore your computer to a date BEFORE installing wmp9. Remember, wmp9 is still a beta, therefor doesnt work with some programs.
