MPEG2 to MPEG1
I am a rookie at this, but i have downloadet a dvd rip that i should burn with CdWin and have done that.
My problem is that my Sony DVD player (DVP-S336) vill not play it, i have read i my manual that it uses the MPEG1 format, and it also says futher down in the text " there is 2 versions of video-cd's,
ver.1.1 : You can only play moving pictures and sounds.
ver.2.0 : You can play high resolu. still-pictures and use PBC-functions.
This player supports both versions.
My question is : the dvd-rip is kodet in MPEG2, am i correct when i say that i should make that to MPEG1.
How do i do that, i have seen that my nero can do that, but i have to download a plugin to do this, and this costs money and i don't have any.
Is there somewhere i can find this plugin, or another pogram that can do the same for me, that vil be to convert MPEG2 to MPEG1.
