            first i used smart ripper

chose 1 audio track and 1 video track

            i pressed start(on s/ripper)

            when finished i used dvd2avi

            i then chose file/open(in dvd2avi)
            and chose the .vob file
            i then chose audio/output method/decode to wave

            then file/save as avi
then chose mpeg4 codec in the video compressor box

            after completion i used virt/dub

chose file/open video file chose the file.01.avi

went to video selected full processing mode

then went to audio and select full processing mode

then go to audio/wav audio found the outputted file

for the compression i used(like it said in the tutorial)
            mpeg layer 3
            64kbit/s 24.000hz,stereo at 8kb/s

go to video/filters and chose add
            then chose resize

            changed them to width 320
            height 240
            filter mode.. nearest neighbour

            then video/compression

this is the settings i used

            divx mpeg4 fast motion

            then chose file/save as avi

when finished i checked it and the quality is poor(very)

            thanks again

You're have to load the file in viritual Dub and there is an option to view the properties of the file!!!
I'm not behind my pc at home and i don't know it out my head!!!

Maybe you can try Gordian Knot to rip the movie again, but now in good quality!!!!! There is a perfect guide here:

The only thing what you have to do is keep you on this guide and you will have a perfect rip!! I use it to and my rips are perfect!!

in case you have questions on that guide above, feel free to ask, since there will be quite some people being familiar with the routine.
