well I changed my AVI movie to VCD, i burned it on nero and I put it in my dvd player the screen came up showing the title page if youd call it that nero makes but the actual movie never started. It said sumtin like PDH on the dvd dispaly. Now what did i do wrong. Thanks for putting up with me.

Using Tmpgenc or with nero burning rom? Its better to convert your movie first to .mpg with TMPGenc, then burn it to cd with nero.

Something like PDH, was it PBC by any chance?
Also, check out www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers for info on your dvd player if it can play vcd's.
