audio problems

does anyone know why tmpgenc will not encode the audio to certain video files usually ones with ac3 audio format. is there any software for doing this?

also

i have in the past used a seperate program(audio decompressor) to convert the files to pcm audio but it does not recognise an audio file on certain video files, is this due to the way the original dvd has been ripped?

either extract ac3 before using nandub:

- open avi
- set audio to full processing mode and select pcm/wave
- go to file => save wave


now you should have a large wavefile, which you should be able to load as sound-source into tmpeg.
