    Windows Media 9 and VOBs

Does anyone know how to get Windows Media Encoder 9 Series Encoder to recognize decrypted VOB files. Windows Media player plays them on my computer fine, but they won't work in the encoder. The error message says that it cannot locate the codecs needed. Thanks.

You can't do that, not directly anyway.

IMHO, the best way to do it, is to use GordianKnot, to create an avs file, that a crops and resizes the movie. Ofcourse this only brings us halfway there, but then you can use vfapi to create a fake avi file from the avs file (this only works on WinXP, if you are using another version of windows, you can use link2 to create the fake avi file from the avs file). The fake avi file can then be loaded into wme9.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
