Easy To Use Software For Converting

Does anyone know of any software I can use to convert AVI files to VCD to play on my DVD player.My kids enjoy the old tv shows and old movies but I dont know how to play them on a DVD/VCD player.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated...and I really dont want any reading material.Am solely looking for any software program to help me with this.

TMPGEnc wil convert your .AVI files to VCD format.

Be advised though, not all standalone players play VCDs.

Not all standalone DVD players accept/recognize all brands of burned CD-Rs.

nero is an easy to use burning software, demo for free (fully functional)

the cd creator starts automatically when u start nero and u can easily make video cds that a lot of dvd players should be able to read (note: not all! )
