DVD to big in size

Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I'm having backing up my DVD's. The problem is that the DVD's im trying to copy and in size of 5gb and 6gb big. I'm using 4.7gb DVD+R discs and a DVD Writer. If anyone could help me with this problem i would be most thankful.
