How do I encode avi with a seperate mp3 audio?

I encoded a movie using GordianKnot and divx5, but it left the audio as a seperate mp3 track.

How do I now recombine this audio with the avi (which has no audio at all) ?

I know it's a newbie question, but I've never had this problem before, after doing tons of rips.

    Please help.

    1. Open AVI in nandub
    2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
    3. Go to Audio and open the audio file
    4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file

Excellent, just the information I needed.

I will try this as soon as possible, and let you know if it works.

I ran into the same problem last night with my 1st GKnot 0_27 rip.

Is this common for GKnot to not mux the final avi movie with sound?

            thnx
