??? Converting *.mov (Quicktime MPEG-4) ???

Any chance to convert Quicktime MPEG-4 (*.mov) files to other
video formats except for screen capturing (i.e. SnagIt, Camtasia...)
while playing in QT Player 6 ?? Special conversion progs available ?

Want to convert clip files cause playing on machines with less
memory and/or CPU power in QT 6 player is very jerky. Prefer
.asf/.wmv or .divx / MS_MPEG-4 files for these cases.

If you have the Professional version of Quicktime 6 and the (free) 3IVX (MPEG-4) cross-platform codec, you should be able to use the "Export" function to save as a 3IVX-compressed .AVI file...

other possibility :

Try EOVideo : it perfectly transforms from anything (mpeg, DivX, RM, QT) to anything. But It is a little bit slow
