    what is wrong with divfix??!

    i had one error in my divx movie.. i opened it under divfix and rebuilt index.. now none of my players can open the file which i watched 2 hours ago.. instead of fixing one single error, this ****in stupid software ****ed all the movie.. i cant watch it anymore...
    does anybody know if there is a chance to save my movie back?? i want my one single errored movie back!!

    You should've saved a copy of the movie before messing around with it, always make a back-up of files that you are going to modify.

      yeah, i figured that out myself too thank you.. but i guess it is a bit late for it..and what i was asking is if there was a chance to save my movie.. not what i should have done..

        Well you can't restore the file back to how it was with DivFiX.

          As a last gasp attempt:

          Load the file into VirtualDub
          If VirtualDub accepts the file, set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"
          Save with a new filename
