    Problem divx 3.11 and Windows XP

    I've been using Win XP for about 3 month and I have now a problem I hadn't with Win 98 : some of my divx encoded with divx 3.11 alpha are played inversed (up becomes down).

    The divx are good (no such problem with win 98) and only a part of them are inverted when read.

    Moreover if I open them with Virtualdub, there is no problem. I don't understand anything.

      use the boards search routine and look for * upside down *

          If DirectVobSub has been installed and is automatically loaded during playback, check under its Misc setting -> Flip Vertically.

              If you installed DivXG400, either directly or as part of a codec "pack", uninstall it...

                  You could also try the latest ffdshow , it has an option to flip the video along with alot of other nice features.
