    TMPGEnc error

    Hello,

got a problem with tmpgenc (Version 2.01), maybe someone can help.

When trying to convert a .avi file to .mpg (even as small as 350MB) I'm getting a "stream writing error" and the notice "not enough space left on my disk) but i have at least 5GB free.

    Any ideas?

    Thx 4 your hlp

You may have less AVAILABLE space than you realize, depending upon the amount of space reserved for the Windows Swap file.

This is just speculation but, further to my original thought, if TMPGEnc (like so many other video related programs) creates temporary files while working, it may be using the "C:\Temp" directory by default.

          Hello,

first of all thx for your effort, your idea brought me to the solution, it was the Norton-Protector protecting the deleted files for some time. Some programs can obviously not cope with that.

          Thx 'n bye
