Convert XviD Question...

Hi...Everyone...I'm new here
I have several questions about converting XviD
Hope You will solve it for me
I want to convert Xvid movie to mpeg1 so I can watch it on TV
and I have to add sub-title to it
I have read several articles about it but still in vain...?
Would you please help me...Please...

Frameserving is one way.

You will need VirtualDub, TMPGEnc and VobSub

Locate VDub dir. and doubleclick on AuxSetup.exe.Then Install Handler
Open .avi in VDub and set Video tab to Full Processing Mode
Then select Filters from the video dropdown menu.
Press add and select TextSub.Open subfile and press OK.
File-->Start Frame Server.Give it a name (something.vdr<--.VDR is important)and press start.

Open .vdr file in TMPGEnc and select proper template(or set up manually).
Wait until encoding is finished and you will have subs on VCD.
