grey screen at playback!!!!

When ever i play divX 3 i get a grey screen instead of the video
my codecs are installed.
what could be the reason??

problem solved

the problem was my directx was not installed correctly and i updated it to directx 9 and everything is ok now
i thought of that before i read the mail but u were right.
