    Lost programme

    Hi Guys,
    Here's one to test you!
    After the uncrashable Win XP crashed....lost lots of stuff.
    I had a freebie prog that converted shop DVD into meg1 cut to go onto CD-R.
    Cannot find it in any back up disks and forgot name! BUT the desktop icon was a chicken!

    HELP......

          Batman......oops....sorry!

          Having got no responce in general I assumed that post expired.
          I then figured that specific areas may be able to help.Problem is people dont understand my request. I dont need help with windows and if a "restore" would have given me back everything I would not need to post for help!
          BUT if additions are not in the "restore" files..they get lost..hence my request.
          I assume you also are unable to help.
          I had hoped that some of the "old timers" on the forum would have had or tried the freeware on offer and been able to help a poor old lady like me.

              Probably a longshot, provided you haven't made any major changes to your hdd, you could try some data recovery tool.
