    "Stream Reading Error"

    Hi there...

I've been using TMPGEnc to do all my conversions into mpeg2. Ive been able to burn a few SVCD's successfully in the past, but now I'm getting this weird error.

The error occurs when 99% of the conversion has been performed, then all of a sudden, a message pops up that says "Stream Reading Error". Its quite annoying because the computer has been hard at work for about 5 hours over night and then when its just about done the process fails... what a waste of time.

Has anyone else come across the error? What can I do to fix the problem?

I'm planning to reinstall TMPGEnc later, but I dont know if thats gonna help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx,

Have you checked to see if, despite the error message, the effort resulted in the creation of a viable .MPG file?

Yes, there was an mpeg2 file avaliable.

The last time it came up with that error, I just closed the program down. I then re-open TMPGEnc and used the "cut n merge" tool to split the mpeg2 file in half for my 2 discs. As it was busy processing for the first part of the movie, once again, the error popped up... "Stream Reading Error".

      Any ideas what gives?

      Thanx for your reply.
